Vamoosa Cemetery is located about 7 miles west of Konawa, Oklahoma. It is between Ada, Oklahoma to the south and Seminole, Oklahoma to the north and is on hwy 377. There is a town named Vamoosa that is next to the cemetery location. There is the old Vamoosa School which is now a church and some houses. Vamoosa Cemetery is in Seminole County, Oklahoma and the county seat is Seminole, Oklahoma.
Upon entering the main gate from hwy 377, go straight until you reach the "T". Turn left (north) and follow the road untill just before the exit. On the west (driver's side) and east (passenger side) you will find headstones related to the Amason's. The following surnames are there;
Amason, Alderson, Prewitt, and I believe, Dunlap. There may be others in other sections of the cemetery, but these are the ones I know of.
